If you have a nest of rats in your attic, then it is an even more alarming situation. Here are some of the things you should do you find a nest of rodents in your attic.

Provide them an exit path

Once you have found a rodent(s), it is better to let them leave on their own. Provide them an exit path, turn the lights on or you can even use some deterrents to force them to leave. These repellents will annoy the rodent, and it will have no other choice to leave. Open the doors and windows so that they can leave and after that find the entry holes and close all of them to prevent further home invasions.

Set Traps

If the rodent does not leave on its own, then you may have to set traps. Some traps can kill the rodent which is not a recommended way to get rid of them.
